Amy is a Senior Associate at McCarthy Bouley Barry + Morgan, P.C. and an experienced trial attorney who specializes in complex litigation. Amy spent sixteen years in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, with the last seven assigned to the Homicide Unit where she handled dozens of high profile murder cases that required sharp legal skills, excellent courtroom advocacy, sensitivity, and top-shelf organization skills. Over the course of her time as a public servant, she tried over 80 cases to verdict.
Since 2017, Amy has specialized in the representation of medical providers, corporations, and large hospitals/medical centers. Rebecca is a Shareholder at McCarthy Bouley Barry + Morgan, P.C., where she specializes in medical malpractice defense and the representation of healthcare providers before various state licensing boards. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Maine, as well as the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Rebecca started her career as judicial law clerk with the Superior Court of Massachusetts, where she assisted the judges in legal research and the drafting of opinions. After completion of her clerkship, Rebecca joined the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office in Boston, where she spent several years as an Assistant District Attorney. As an ADA, Rebecca tried over 30 cases in both District and Superior Court, and ultimately focused on the prosecution of juvenile offenders and crimes against children. Prior to starting at McCarthy Bouley Barry + Morgan, P.C., Rebecca was an associate at a healthcare law firm in Boston.

Jeanine is a Senior Associate at McCarthy Bouley Barry + Morgan who counsels and defends individuals and corporations in the health care industry. She has extensive courtroom experience in state and federal courts in Massachusetts, and represents clients before professional licensing boards.
Ms. Goodwin began her legal career in 1997 as a criminal prosecutor for the State Attorney of Palm Beach County, Florida. She prosecuted a high volume of criminal actions in the appellate and trial divisions and became Chief of her trial court division. A native to New England, Ms. Goodwin returned to Boston in 2000 and became an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County. She tried more than forty jury trials over the course of her career as a prosecutor.
After leaving the public sector in 2003, Ms. Goodwin focused her legal career on representing physicians, hospitals, nurses, dentists and other medical professionals. She has litigated complex claims involving allegations of wrongful death, failure to diagnose, product liability, premises liability, and unfair claim handling. She has successfully resolved cases through pre-trial dismissal, mediation, settlement, trial and the appeal process.
