Doug Morgan and Amy Galatis obtain defense verdict on behalf of surgeon in Plymouth Superior Court (Brockton)
MBB+M Shareholder Doug Morgan and Senior Associate Amy Galatis obtained a defense verdict on behalf of their client, a general surgeon, after a two-week trial. Plaintiff (daughter of the deceased patient) alleged that their client failed to diagnose a developing rectal cancer during a hemorrhoidectomy procedure causing the cancer to metastasize and causing her mother’s death. The jury found no negligence on the part of their client.
