Amy J. Galatis
Amy is a Senior Associate at McCarthy Bouley Barry + Morgan, P.C. and an experienced trial attorney who specializes in complex litigation. Amy spent sixteen years in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, with the last seven assigned to the Homicide Unit where she handled dozens of high profile murder cases that required sharp legal skills, excellent courtroom advocacy, sensitivity, and top-shelf organization skills. Over the course of her time as a public servant, she tried over 80 cases to verdict.
Since 2017, Amy has specialized in the representation of medical providers, corporations, and large hospitals/medical centers. She has handled a broad range of medical malpractice defense claims including failure/delay to diagnose, wrongful death, and incorrect site/side. She also represented clients in premises liability matters, automobile accidents, and generally liability claims.
